Phil James offers a quality service in all areas of soft furnishings and upholstery, with many years of experience and quality upholstery craftsmen on hand to restore and upholster your antique, traditional or modern pieces of furniture. We can repair frames, springs, webbing, foams and restore woodwork (excludes French polish), which is especially suitable for antique or old pieces of fine furniture.

This is a local service throughout the Monmouthshire, Torfaen and Gwent area covering Monmouth, Abergavenny, Cwmbran, Newport and Pontypool. Our upholstery advisor will offer expert advice and make convenient arrangements to visit you, or inspect your furniture.
Our services include upholstery and reupholstery with a massive choice of leading fabric supplies and leather. We can supply new foam cushion infill to your chair and sofa cushions. There is a choice of foam available from medium/soft to medium/firm.

Typically when your item is collected, the work then takes about 1-2 weeks.

Y We can do this. If you have removeable pads then bring them to us. If the pad is fixed to the chair then
