The Old Barn, Newport

This project involved relaying and extending the existing patio. The Patiola Terrace awning here comprises two units independantly motorised and given a total outdoor seating area of 33.75 sq.mtrs (7.5 x 4.5). It has been fitted adjacent to the existing Restaurant doors and so provides an ideal all year round 'al fresco' dining experience.

 

The fabric colour is cream and the client specified cream RAL finish to the steel. The unit is also fitted with lighting bars incorporating low voltage spotlights and three infrared 1300w lamp units were fitted to the external wall.

 

The proprietor has commented:

'This facility guarantees our customers 'al fresco' dining. We have created about 30 additional covers to the Restaurant which is fantastic for us during the summer. I have had lots of interest from local diners and Wedding parties. There is not a restaurant around this area that can offer this type of facility. We have been really pleased with the impact this has made and once again the service has been excellent.'
